Anyone still service with a main dealer? Recommendations?

Gents I have an Inspection 1 due in May and I'd like to maintain the fBMWsh especially as I *might* think about changing it soon... I have previously used Elms in Cambridge where a lot of the CSL boys take their cars (they seem to like to maintain warranty on CSLs) and the main technician Gareth was considered an expert on the S54... Gareth is now at an indy and it sounds like Elms have gone downhill :o

So... are there any dealers out there that genuinely know the S54?? I'm based around north London but happy to travel to a degree...

Thanks [ref]jimbo1958[/ref]. I've just messaged a friend of mine who works there to ask if he rates any of their technicians! :D

I've used them for warranty work before but never servicing... might have to this time if no one else genuinely rates any other dealers for servicing Z4Ms... Wonder if they will give me a courtesy car even though I could probably walk home from there in about 25mins!

I'm in the same boat, due I2 soon. BMW want £808. Mine is FBMWSH, but that price is nuts, so might look into indi. There is a well respected guy locally, so will see how much better he is.

I've used Stephen James Enfield for years aswell (so far only warranty work on Z4M). It is a raffle whether the work is done to a good level or not, I often occur delays from original time estimates (not a big deal). I have had to take cars back there a few times because the original work has not been good.

Just had an oil service and brake fluid done at Spire in Highgate.. well more Kentish Town (Used to be Hexagon). Pricing was in line with other main dealers. No complaints really and I made use of the fast lane service, the bonus of this dealer is you get to kill time around Camden town.

Yes, thats the one. I think Spire shut down the showroom they had in Highgate opposite Bishops Avenue and moved Sales so it's all based near Kentish Town tube station.

Will call them for a price, and have been told Sytner Harold Wood have a good technician so will get calling next week

I've used bmw spire borehamwood for an oil service and just used phil at cpc amersham for an inspection 2.

Wouldn't touch steven james enfield, charged me nearly £500 to sort out my driver's side window regulator on my old 3.0.

Main dealer north oxford for me:)

And a few bits at DMworx in Aylesbury
