Anyone run 235/35 front 275/30/19 rear?

Ideally was going to run 265/30, but 275 might fill the rear arches a bit more? + Wider rears look nice.

Heard one person say the high speed handling felt compromised though?

Thoughts? Anyone use the sizes?

It's probably me that said the 275/30/19's made my car feel very twitchy and unstable at speed. They were PS2's and I took them off after about 200 miles because they were so bad, I thought the RTAB's were shot initially. They were replaced with 265/30's and the car was immediately back to itself. I ran the 275's in tandem with 245/35/19's on the front.

There's plenty of reports of people running 275's on E46 M3's and E90 3 series with very good results which is what prompted me to go for them in part. My experience is that these positive reports don't translate to their use on Z4M's.

Im on 235/35 265/30 ps2 , the orginal csl sizes, the car behaves like stock with more grip, imo 275 is too much!

I put my hand up into the rear arch and i was shocked how close the 265 tyre was to inner strut area, dont do it!!!

If these sizes are good enuff for the csl there good for us :-)

i run 275's for a while and felt the car was more planted - back to 265 since last year.

Planning to go back to 275 this rear though..

What tyres?

245/40-18 front, 275/35-18 rear Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec on my car (standard wheels). Much better grip and high speed stability compared with the standard Conti's but more tramlining on worn roads due to the stiffer sidewall. No rubbing at any point, but the fronts are very close to the wheel arch liner at full lock.

No rubbing at all?? What sort of driving have you tried them in?

Several autocross sessions, 1 track session, spirited driving on the road, diagonal crossing of sleeping policemen.

With the standard 8" front wheels, the 245/40-18 tyres are about 2mm away from rubbing at full lock with some suspension compression, close to the headlight access door. A wider wheel or less wheel offset could cause a 245 wide tyre to rub in the front. The 275/35-18 rear seems to have about 5mm clearance inside and outside with suspension compression on the standard 9" wide wheels.

I think you should stick to CSL sizes. A few people in the us have opted for 245f 275r, but they have experienced rubbing up front.
