Anyone remember a Hamann Coupe?

I found the thread about the difference between Alpina and Z4Ms very interesting and it got me thinking.

A couple of years ago, I was at a garage near Stone in Staffordshire and was quite taken by a black Z4 Coupe which was fully badged up as "Hamann" - there wasn't a single BMW logo on it anywhere. It looked very, very tasty.
I was actually looking for a car for Mrs TR4man, so couldn't spend too much time looking at the Coupe.

Was this car ever known on this forum? Was there a Hamann Coupe or was it just a normal Coupe a previous owner badged up as a Hamann?

...and didn't someone join recently with a Schnitzer roadster?

Hamann are aftermarket tuners & bodykits - but you can also buy the parts and bolt on (although they are pretty expensive), so it could be either? I've always personally found their styling to be overly aggressive and in-your-face, but each to their own.

Although I don't recall the one I saw having such "in your face" rear spoilers.

I like that. Apart from the alloys. I prefer a more aggressive look though but not over the top.

I saw a 350/370z a few months back that had the most ridiculously sized spoiler I have seen in a long time. About a foot possibly more taller than the boot and it was substantially bigger than it needed to be. I think the hamann ones are well done.

cheeky so and so.

I admit to quite liking it but I do think that the rear is a little too "chavvy" with the twin spoilers and drug dealer glass.

Hard not to agree although i did attempt to buy a silver coupe 18months ago with nicer wheels + Hamman front bumper & a quad exhaust conversion , no way would i have been interested with that full version though thats making me ill
