anyone planning a drive anywhere near south yorkshire?

yea I was thinking of going up last year but shift work kinda got in the way but since I've packed in work im game to give it another go

Held on the first Monday of every month at The Elm Tree in Heath, just off the M1 at Junction 29 (A617). The website is http://www.theelmtreeheath.co.uk/
Directions? It’s easy. Come off at J29 of the M1, take the B6175 to North Wingfield. Drive along this road for 1/4 of a mile and take the first turning right. This takes you into Heath, and the Elm Tree is on the right, past two other pubs. It has a nice big car park and Heath is a very small and very nice village.
We’ve used this place for our Xmas dinners and it’s very good - the food is outstanding yet not expensive.
The first thing - if you have an interest in BMW’s, you are welcome to come along. We don’t bite and are definitely not snobby or standoffish. I don’t own a car worth more than a grand! For 14 years we used to meet at the Winsick Arms/Telemere Lodge, but it’s time for a change.
We’re looking to really expand this meet and make it the best BMW monthly meeting in this area - we have a very wide range of German metal from E21’s to E46 CSL’s and we have all different takes on BMW. Some of us do trackdays, some do concours - some do both! Most of us do our own maintenance so if you have a car with an issue, we can point you in the right direction.
In the summer, we used to have a good carpark full - we can only do this if you bring your car along! Please come and join us for a good feed, some very good local brews and nice cars.

Does this still happen? Also its not at the Elm Tree in Heath anymore. Its at the Twin Oaks hotel just off Junction 29 of M1
I asked on the Zroadster forum back end of last year and it did but don't know if it still does.
I kept meaning to go last year cos I only live a few miles away from it but never did.

Just got this reply on Zroadster forum. So it does still take place.

Post as per BMWCC

BMW Monthly pub meet has moved to the second Monday every month at The Twin Oaks Hotel, Church Lane, Palterton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S44 6UZ.
Really easy to find as it is just off Junction 29 on the M1 Palterton turn. Everyone welcome, monthly raffles and plenty of parking. All welcome and it's not just all about cars as a bonus good food is also available. For further information call Steve on 07811722742
 
I'd be interested in a drive somewhere, I'm in Doncaster.

I'll post up my local route when I'm on a computer, be interested to hear of any good routes others do too. I normally head up to the Dales or Moors but sometimes you just want a quick hour or so.
