Anyone own a Tassimo?

I have a Jura ENA 5 but I'm sure that doesn't count :D

I think you can get tablets for that sars! :)

What's one of those?

Edit. Just googled it! Woah, that's a big bad boy coffee machine!

But it's a bit weak when you add more water. Mm, even though it's 11.30pm, thought of a nice coffee is making my mouth water!!

Oh, how do you store your Tasses? I was looking online for storage/display thing, with them in the boxes, but can't find anything you can store say 10 boxes in? Cheers, *I can smell coffee in my head!

Lol! I know I've just had to go and make one!
I just keep them in the box on a shelf in the cupboard.

It does make them a bit more watery but I still do it sometimes.

Caramel latte

I put my Nespresso pods mixed up in a square glass vase next to the coffee machine - looks quite nice with all the colours mixed up. Get through about 100 a month :D

God, don't get me started. I didn't go to bed til almost 2am last night so no way I can indulge in a kwaufee now! I remember when getting the Caramel Macchiato, I thought it would give you a tube of squirty caramel, like in the photo on the box. D'oh! Very misleading.

Supplies running low, need to check what I need to get more of.

Sounds like a good idea. Very artsy fartsy :P. However, for me, I need to see the boxes, there are quite a few different ones, and I don't know what's available unless look at the boxes! Probably being too fussy.

Do you have a fave flavour Bing?

On watery - try putting about half an inch of milk in the bottom of the glass and heating it in the microwave for 20 secs before adding the coffee - you can get quite a nice slightly milky/frothy outcome without going full latte or cappuccino... That's if you normally drink them 'pure'. Don't have a tassi so not sure what the standard output is composed of :D

Fave flavour is purple :P

It's called 'Arpeggio'' - on a scale of 1 to 10 of strength it is a 9, described as receiving it's distinctive character and full body from a blend of Central and South American Arabicas. It has in intense bouquet, combining roasted, woody and cocoa notes. (just read the book  )

Quite fancy one now... But must go to bed !

I've had three Tassimos now, they wear out after a while, but we do have 3 coffee drinkers at home, two are home workers. Sadly the 5KG limit for Terracycle became too limiting and they don't seem to want me to send them other than by their Freepost system. I buy four boxes of five packs at a time, usually from Tassimo direct unless Amazon have a good price. We usually drink the Macchiatos either plain or caramel variety.

Andi.

Edit: Just seen that the min and max weight for Tassimo is now 3.7KG and 20KG, I'll probably start again.

You should, it raises money for charity and you're recycling not adding to landfill with the non-degradable coffee pods.
I'd still send them no matter what the weight limit was.

I've had my tassimo a good few years and it gets used all the time. You must be giving it some stick to get through that many machines!

Spoilt I am with coffee, got this before Tassimo et al were on the scene and once you have tasted there is no going back to instant coffee, not sure I would replace it, but I do like my latte with steamed milk

Moka pot :)
