Hi guys,
I know a lot of this come up a few times recently following the cold weather but I was wondering if anyone had similar to me and whether they had managed to repair to existing unit. I noticed the washer reservoir had emptied too quickly and refilled to see a flow of water from beneath the front bumper on the drivers side.
A quick look through the empty washer reservoir showed it was not gunk blocking the filter so I inspected through the fog light hatch in the wheel arch. Low and behold leaking washer unit but not from the pipe. Removed the bumper and thoroughly cleaned the unit. Refitted and it worked twice before the leak started again. Anyway, I've cribbed ewazix's picture to highlight were the leak appears to be coming from:

Has anyone taken apart the unit? Its looks pretty well sealed? The unit will twist if you try but doesnt seam to unscrew. However, in operation the unit doesnt appear to twist therefore I was thinking of using a sealant in the small lip around the original seal. Does anyone have a better understanding of how it fits together? Do you think it would be a problem?
Failing that anyone sourced a replacement? Posts on here mentioned £50 - £75. Parts reunited show £36 + VAt and presumably delivery. Contacting soper now to get a quote but would prefer to mend if possible.
Tip to anyone refitting the bumper - make sure you spend some time getting it sat correctly when refitting. Originally I had it to close to the engine to the bonnet would shut properly. Now I've got it too high and the upper of the bumper sits 3 mm too high and looks daft. Whole think will have to come off again!
Cheers guys
