Nothing to do with me, but spotted these and they are hard to find now:

Just looks crap - completely ruins what is already a gorgeous boot line !

Isn't this the same thing only a lot cheaper?

just bought one, doesn't say if it comes with fixing tape though should make the back end a bit more interesting.

But the 'expensive' one is not OEM either, just made in Germany. Doesn't mean it's any better than the Chinese one.

What i was thinking, your saving £100 ish at the end of the day for the same look

tomscott, i bet you still cry yourself to sleep every night  once you set off on your hols you'll be convinced you did the right thing

I can't tell if i would like it or not...

Plus i think it would look a bit lost on mine as it would just blend in. Probably not worth it for me.

Haha I've been ok….

I hope so! 2 1/2 weeks to go!

They really do look good in the flesh, you also don't see many of them, they are also functional according to our aerodynamic chief exdos!

For the money its a cheap little mod that really makes a big difference to the aesthetics!

the item above arrived on weekend looks good at first but when you place it on the boot the fit is not good. There are air gaps between the carbon and the boot lid. I contacted the company and they said to use tape and glue to make up the gaps but also warned if the fix is not good it could fly off at speed !

I've got the Chinese one on mine (with the little twist/gaps in it), and it's stayed stuck for over 3,000 miles, speeds of 170mph on the autobahn and 130+ on the 'Ring.

I bought some trim tape from Halfords. It's about an inch wide and I just cut it into sections to cover the whole of the underside of the spoiler.

Kept pressure on it for about 10 minutes and that's it.

Tony, I've been waiting for your input. Did you notice any performance difference with the spoiler at The Ring?

Been too long between trips really, and my suspension refresh is long overdue, so any difference I'd have felt could have been down to 120k mile old suspension components.

Just got to save up the £4k for the suspension kit and replacement of all bushes, etc. Plus I can't see the(original) clutch/flywheel lasting much longer, which will be another £1500 or so :P .
