Every day is a classroom day! I too was quite surprised when I found it - I've not looked to see if the sensors are common across the range.

I'd say yours is by mileage but not by time - not that over-servicing is a bad think in my mind, just that it appears 'over' compared to schedule but that the schedule is what's wrong.
