Anyone know this car?

£1300 is crazy money for a zed, as above, use it for a few years and you should get your money back when you sell it.

£1.3 is pretty good. Mechanically prob fine but a few areas obvs need attention. Nice winter project at the very least.

Some members are doing angel eyes so if you need to, can always split to remove any internal marks. The cloudy-ness can be polished out/off.

Well i took a gamble and got, Witch to me is what you,d pay for a half descent mx5.
Will need a bit of TLC but its time and labour rather than money.
I figure if i spend £500 i'l have a pretty good car, This will be the 3rd Z4 :D

thing is.. buying a cat d even if its fixed ok, you will then have to go through the questions and the looks when you come to sell it..

Great news - I hope it doesn't take too much TLC or expense.

That must be one of the cheapest Z4s yet!

If you pay £1200, spend a bit and get a couple of years of great driving then you've done well. At that rate it doesn't matter about worrying about selling it!

mate loads out there with clean history..... 1300 is ok for price but then add up all the remedials it takes you to where you would pay for a clean model.....

£1200 is banger money these days, you bagged a Zed which looks OK. At least you know it's a cat D, how many cars are out there with hidden damage. I bet many have bought cars and once home, you give it a good clean, then you see its had paint on some panels.

I wouldnt touch im afraid, what if after youve spent money getting it all sorted you decide to sell it on??
You will lose everything on it and youd be lucky to sell it on for even purchase price.. imo

The way I look at it time I do a few bits n bobs il have a nice colour sensible miles2.5 2 seater convertible on the road in the summer
What else's fit's that above pound for pound.
I've sold cat cars in the past.
You buy them cheaper and sell them cheaper.

Good luck with this one Captain Caveman.

Would be interested to see some more pics and what errors it may or may not be showing.

Nope i actually bought a hpi clear 53 plate 2.5 for a grand a couple of years ago. They are out there. :D

I personally wouldn't bother with refurbishing the 108's. They'll start to corrode again in a few years. I'd be tempted by these, if you haven't already seen them.

Well I've just been to see the car
The car it's self drive ok with no problems that I could find.
It has had paint on the drivers rear quarter not a bad job but could have been better if they had blown it into the door.
Alloys need a refurb and lower front bumper is scuffed.
Dealer said it wasn't a wear it was a cat d and did seem genuinely suprised of course could all be an act.
Headlights are fogged and water in one of them.
Roof motor was making a loud moaning noise not all the time just passed the half way mark.
Got him down to £1300.

Walk away. There’s plenty of good ones out there. It’s against the law not to disclose a cat c,d or s if it comes from a dealer. Of course he knows!!!

The car wasn’t on the wirral by any chance??

I got mine on the Wirral. 98k and £1800. CatD. Black though......... :)
