Hi there

I have been looking recently for a Z4 coupe. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to spec and really want an auto in Monaco Blue with either Black or Saddle Brown Leather.

I recently saw an advert on Pistonheads for the following car and the advert has now expired. It did not say the car was sold but I cannot retrieve the contact details for the seller to find out more. I'm hoping someone on here might know the car, the seller or maybe has called about it themselves at a time.

It's fairly distinctive I believe as it has as saddle brown leather and wood effect trim. 2006 with about 19k on it. Would appreciate any help

Thanks

This is the car...

I dont know the car but that interior is IMO truly horrible.

saddle brown leather, maybe, brown wood dash

to each their own though...

First time I've seen that interior combo. Good luck finding the seller

An aquired taste I know, I didn't like it at first but spent ages looking at it and it grew on me like a tree.. :P

My other option is black with brushed alu or piano black..

the latter two options are far nicer.

the brown with wood would limit your future market - but not all decision's should be made with that in mind ;)

Black with piano black would be easier on the eye IMO

Having said that, if wood interior is your thing, keep looking to you find it

Hi and welcome, can't help I'm afraid but if it's still available you should be able to get for a good price and there won't be many people after saddle brown leather.

Interesting interior...

Looks like the 'naturbrown' leather, same as my old e46 - was carbon-cube dash and inserts though which worked beautifully.

If you like that combo, cool :)

3.5k miles a year! Should be in as new condition. Just make sure it has still had a service every 2 years as required.

Good luck with the hunt

I like it.
they are traditional masculine finishes
I would be in the market for one with another 100k on it.

Think that interior works in something like a Jag, but looks kindof incongruous in a Zed imho. Some cars are meant for sedate cruising, an extension of your cosy leather armchair. The Zed isn't.

However, as said above, it's an entirely subjective thing and nothing to do with anyone other than the OP. If it works for you, fantastic! :)

Natur brown is lighter, I think that's what I had in my E46...

Well, it's certainly different inside. Looks like it was spec'd up by a 70 year old originally

that's the difference. Perhaps those that find it unappealing are younger owners. I too thought 'old jag' when I saw it. An ideal vehicle for snoozing along country lanes and nipping past anything that obstructs. The 6 series is the obvious contender but is a bit bloated in comparison to the Z. If the Z4 can fit the (XJS) niche, well done BMW.

I actually quite like it, although it's definitely an acquired taste. Think it would look even better with piano black dash finish. Good luck on your search and hope you get the Zed you are after.

it might be the fact that that interior comes with that trim (if you select that brown, comes with that poplar wood trim), tried to find the old configurator but doesn't seem to exist anymore.

+1
like the seats .... just needs a piano black dash for me then it would be a nice Gentleman's tourer..

I do like the seats it's more the maritime dash I'm against 8)

Wood suits a waft-mobile not a two-seater sports coupe.

Jeremy Clarkson may be competing with you for a car with wooden/saddle brown interior . That's his territory
