Anyone know how to replace rear BMW logo plate on the boot lift handle?

Decided to replace all the old BMW roundels with new ones..I see the front and sides are push fit into a grommet of some sorts..

How is the rear roundel fixed?

As far as i know the rear rounded is glued onto the metal boot opener

I replaced my cars badge, i chose a warm day to do it, just lifted off.
I stuck some tape on first before i removed as a ref. pt. just in case there wasn't any.
Problem was cost of badge, about £40.
