Hi All
I am new to here and have been down to see this car today:
http://www.parkwaymotorgroup.co.uk/mobile/used-car-sales/BMW/Z4M/details/1104/

Everything looks ok to me but wondering if anyone knew about it. Have had a read of the list of checks and stuff and will be having a look at it again tomorrow to check everything over some more.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Joe

The link just takes you to the home page. I can see 2x M's. One coupe and one roadster...

On the roadster, I didn't think BMW offered a Lux pack. I thought that was just Alpina. It's got the very desirable carbon leather dash... Nice!

Ah sorry. Am on my phone.
It was the roadster I was interested in.
Yeah I hadn't read about a lux pack. Think they have had too many focus Rs' in lol

Not surprising that the Roadster has been sold and the undesirable coupe will be sitting lonely on the forecourt tonight. :poke:

Haha yeah I left a deposit on it yesterday.
Do you mean the tyres on the coupe? Yeah they were defo some form or ditch finders.
Picking it up Saturday so will get some pictures up here for you guys.

Will be my first car away from a hot hatch so really interested to see what it's like :)

Edit: price was £14,650. But got it for a bit less than that :) and they are throwing in the inspection 2 service as they messed up with the two service books and showed me the coupe one when I went to see it the first day which had it done. Then when I went back to leave a deposit they showed me the one for the car and it wasn't done.
So was going to walk away but they said they'd do the service if I'd make the deal :)

Good job, very pleased for you... Always nice to get a discount and a bonus

Walking away is something that is hard to do, but the rewards are worth it if they really want your business.

Haha yeah as said it is hard to walk away.
But I always go into sales without being emotionally attached to the car. Otherwise your heart will hurt your wallet lol.
Will give it a nice detail over the weekend (weather dependant) and get some pictures up.

Think the sound of the 6 pot is going to make me even better friends with Peter Voser (CEO of shell ;))

Take it it's best to run it on V Power?

Tesco 99 seems fine for me all these years. Always the good stuff though. Hope you enjoy your car.

I dont know if i'd have an independent place like that doing an Inspection II on a M....do they know whats involved?

Yeah thought it would be best to use super unleaded :)

And yeah I was a bit sceptical. But he has said the garage services the prestige market. And when I was talking to him he knew more than me about the inspection 2 service.

Eek.. be very careful.. did you get the Shim report? Inps 2 is £900 on an /M for a reason...

I've looked around this place a few times, and at your new Z4M! It seems a very tidy motor, much better than the coupe they have in :)
I went to look over that z4mc and I ended up walking away, its crying out for a decent detail and some stone chips sorting etc (high ones too on the pillars) but the cheapo front tyres someone stuck on just put me off, so back to the hunt for me :)

Oh and if you know anyone going to view their red audi S3, check out the o/s/f bumper under the headlamp, its been repaired badly, headlamp glass still has the accident scuffs etc on it, new paint doesn't match the wing, and the paint has filled the panel gap and stuck the wing to the bumper lol

Yeah went to look at them both and noticed the same. The roadster was in much better condition and cheaper too ;)
Those front tyres are shocking.
Haha didn't look at the S3 will have a look when I go to collect the z lol

Congratulations Strell, I know you haven't even bought it yet but if you do think about selling in 12 months let me know

Cheers can't wait to pick it up :)
Haha funny you should say that but that about the usual length of ownership for me. Average is actually down at 11 months lol

I'm serious mate, I'm looking to get one about this time next year and that's the perfect spec for me so if you do want to move it on then I'd appreciate a heads up.

Ok sure. Will defo keep you in mind as I probably will need to get more serious and buy a house this time next year.
So my toys will need to be cut back :(
