Is anyone feeling the same as me, after a massive clearout I managed to get the car in the garage, chamoised and polished. I'm keen to get out for a drive, I've even left the tax on.
Roll on dry days when I can get the roof down.

I've given up worrying about it. The car gets washed about once every 3 weeks at the moment, fortunately it takes that long to get really dirty as its not driven all the much any more. But when it does need driven, or when I want to go out, I just do it. Roof down days are a bonus. Congrats on your clear out though, feels good right ?

It's pissing down here - I'm just relaxing on my last day before getting back to work :(

It seems to be pissing down everywhere, it's called "global warming" Ideal for convertible cars?

Not a chance for me, used it last Monday with a trip to see the lads on a track day at Donnington, it was a lovely dry day, I don't think I've driven it in the rain since I've had it unless I've been caught out, fortunately I have other cars so no need to use the Z in weather like this

Just going to drive mine to the local Pistonhead lunch, surprisingly waterproof with the roof up :D

Same with me. My wife thinks i am nuts not using the car unless its dry. But then to her the car is just a vehicle to get you to the M&S/Next sales.

your just as bad as me!! lol

Managed to get out on New Years Day - felt great to be out on the road again with the roof down - saw it was going to be the only dry day for some time . . . . . :(

I've had my zed 3 years - only properly washed it when I brought it home  It's never seen rain and never taken out unless it's completely sunny and dry - occasionally sponge it down to remove dust prior to a polish  sad bastard I know and it's still under 30k for a car that is 12 years old in a few months ! Still can't bring myself to sell it though !!

It's a car for Gawd's sake!

What do you think is going to happen if it gets wet?

My coupe is my daily driver so there's no poncing around if it's raining. So far it hasn't shrunk in the rain, it hasn't caught the flu or rusted away before my eyes.

Just get in it and drive it.

Did 300 miles yesterday in the pouring rain. The car still lives. Coupes are obviously the senior model :fuelfire:

Have done 50,000+ miles in 3 years in a Roadster that lives outside in all weather so obviously is by far the senior model :poke:

Went out in mine this morning to get the papers there was so much water on the roads I reckon I could have used the
kayak to get the shop.

Gov you need to use that Z a bit more it's wasted just sitting in your garage, if and when you do want to sell it
let me know

Update. It hasnt stopped raining of the heavy type despite forecasters saying 'light rain'. My back garden is mostly under water so submersible pump now running and water is starting to flow under the garage door and car tyres will be wet very soon. All this and we live in the South!!

Mine as been running dry weather for the last three years, took it out Tuesday for a blast bloomin loooooverly it was. Just got to wait for another dry day to bounce those valves :D

Yep, weather has been awful here the last few days. Still took my Z4 out as it's my daily driver. Glad I put the hardtop on over Christmas as I reckon the motor would be fully submersed by now if I hadn't  can't wait to relocate it to the boot.
