Anyone in West Yorkshire have some spare/winter wheels I could borrow for a day to troubleshoot an issue?

Hi all,

I have an annoying whining issue (post on here discussing the issue) that my mechanic can't seem to figure out. He thinks it's a tyre but I can't test that theory without putting on a new tyre or trying some different wheels. My tyres are only 2 months old so I don't want fork out for a new tyre or even some extra part worn tyres.... it may not even be a problem with the tyres.

It would be easier to throw on another set of wheels but I don't know anyone with a Z4 or in fact a Beemer with similar fitment. Does anyone on here have a spare set or a winter set I could borrow for a day? I'd buy you a pint for your troubles

I have a spare set of 108's but there not winters. if you can get hold of a set of winters to put on them you're more than welcome to use if needed

I live near Xscape in Castleford. Where are you?

I only need to try the wheels for a few hours really. I just want to see if the annoying whine is gone (and maybe the annoying wheel wobble I've had for years!) with a different set of wheels then I can rule out my wheels and tyres..... Or blame them!

That's only an hour away from me. If you're happy for me to borrow them I could call up on Saturday (at a time to suit you) swap the wheels, leave my wheels at your place as collateral, then bring them back either later that day or on Sunday, whichever works for you?

It may be that I only have to drive down the road and I notice the whining is still there. I'd also like to do a motorway run to check if I still get wheel wobble at 60+mph.
