Is there anyone on here near Nottingham? Seen a car i would like - it's at a dealership in Ilkeston ... Unfortunately I'm in Scotland! Was hoping someone could go and take a look before I waste money popping down!

Can't help you I'm afraid, but I got a return train ticket for £35 to Nottingham from Edinburgh to pick up my new car recently

Can't help with viewing the car, but it has had a fairly chequered MOT history with 8 failures over the years. Failed it's last MOT then passed with advisories for corroded brake pipes and three out of four tyres being worn.

Could be possible bargaining chips if you do go for it.

Most advisory's or failures with MOT are due to tyres by the looks of it. They passed a tyre one year with a nail stuck in it? Can't quite get my head around that one!

Also worth noting that the MOT advisory for this year (2018) says corrosion to brake lines. So I'd try to get that done by the garage if I were you. Also, the tyres will need replacing (and probably alignment) but this way you can choose your rubber, possible haggling point tho.

I'd ask the garage for the service intervals as it's mentioned that it's got history but full history? Or only part? Don't see anything glaringly obvious that would lead me to avoid it if everything else suits you.
