As above really...

I had a friendly play with one on a straight private road, he couldn't shake me when I followed at a distance, I couldn't shake him when he was tucked in behind me. He backed off at around 120. Both of us were 2up, I had a boot full of luggage.

I think from about 85-95 he seemed quicker when he was draughting me, but when I was behind him at a distance, there was nothing in it at all.

Nice little acknowledgement too when he turned off.

I was quite pleased with my little Z for keeping with such a press "revered" car. :fuelfire:

Carry on.

I have followed one one a more twisty private road (in my 520i) and I reckon I could have eaten it for breakfast.

There's a video on you tube of them on a runway from M5board.com they are pretty even up to very high speeds but then the RS4 starts pulling most likely due to the increased power and torque over the lighter Zed.

Good stuff though love these stories.

yep, raced a colleague...I won. Mainly because he can't drive...I'll take some vids next time...But if you put both cars in 4th at 70 the RS4 Walks it...If you put both cars in 3rd, it's alot closer!!! There is indeed, no replacement for displacement!

Audi's are boring... sorry just my 2 cents... I was thinking about changing for an R8 in the near future but even one of those feels almsot too like "company car" inside... Z4 wins for me everytime irrespective of who comes in first.
