Anyone here around the Alton/Guildford Area?

Wyldie85, Thanks a lot, I've just posted on the "Us and Our Z4's" forum too, as a proper introduction.
I drive to Guildford everyday, so pls do flash your lights if you see me passing by.I will surely do the same...your Zed looks terrific by the way.

I would definitely be up for a meet up at some point. A nice lunch and a Z4 driving stravaganza :driving: sounds like a great plan.

So who fancies a trip down to Goodwood on Sunday morning then? Veepower Sunday, so a nice excuse to leave the wife in bed, jump in the car at the crack of dawn and go oogle some expensive metal over a full english down at the Goodwood Circuit.....
 
Im about 40 mins away from Hindhead tunnel, used to live closer but very familiar with the area and that tunnel!

Can always sort out something to drive around there sometime, gives me an excuse to put the loud exhaust on again and go for a blast :D
 
I'm not far, in Basingstoke, and I drive through Alton every day.
A cracking drive down the A339, A31, and A32 every day to work! :driving:

My friend is a mechanic in Hindhead so I've been through the area numerous times. Only been out in Guilford itself once or twice though.

No his name is Glenn, works for a smart specialist now but cut his teeth on VWs. We met when we both had Mk2 Scirocco's and were members of the Scirocco forum..

Straight down the A3. There are average speed cameras in there so go slow at the beginning so you can blast it further in. However, I am reliably informed that they are not set up correctly to be inforceable (although I've not been brave enough to test the theory out!)
 
Quite a few of us in this neck of the woods then. Perhaps a meet in the area one cold, crisp Sunday could be a possibility?

31isDreamer - I think I pass you going over the Ash Ranges most mornings on the way to work? 12/13 plate?

If so, please wave back or at least give me a flash! If it isn't you the man must think I am completely mental.
 
I am yet to attend one :thumbsdown: which is poor form I know.

Perhaps somewhere convenient for us all would be a good start!
Would others be interested in this?
