anyone have/had a 370/350z nissan?

Hmm I have a soft spot for 350s , but don't know a great deal about 370s. My brother's 350GT was a beauty, low miler one owner. He never should have sold it , and regrets doing so big time.

Residuals are good for the low mile well specced etc - he ran his for a year and sold it for the same price as he bought it for. Two years down the line he cant find a similarly mint example for any cheaper!

Once warmed up they are really smooth to drive. More of a GT style car than the nippy nimble z4. The roar from the 350 however at full beans embarrasses the 3.0si, the 3.0si sounds so polite and well behaved in comparison. With regard to interior quality ... The 350z did not make a single rattle, from anywhere. We z4 owners can't really comment on interior quality - the cheap tacky plastics dotted around the place in the zed are a let down. The 350 plastics might not look as pretty but apart from the cacky flap that covers the sat Nav things were solid.

The z4 is better round the twisties IF the tarmac is smooth. Otherwise the sheer weight (and there's a fair bit of it) of the 350 seems to keep it more planted.

I sometimes regret not buying it off him instead of the zed. But then I can't compare it to the z4 roadie directly - it should really be compared to the z4m IMO which I can't do. Although the price difference of the two would make the comparison a sham.

The shot of the wing reflecting in the door always amazes me when it comes to paint finish - that's with no paint correction, just us two noobs hand polish and wax.

I love the z4 ... But I always feel the need to stick up for these "Nissans" as they are underestimated. Quite different to a micra :D:D

When I moved to the US from London I left behind a Z3 MCoupe. I ended up buying a 350z in the states just because I got a stellar deal. My plan was to hold onto it for about a year until i found another Z3 MCoupe. I ended up keeping the 35 btw, what rimds0z for 4 years. I really liked it, although not a patch on the Z3 MCoupe! It was uber reliable and really cheap to maintain and to be honest, it gave me about 70% of the satisfaction that the Z3 MCoupe did (whilst being much cheaper to run and far more reliable). In the end it was the engine that got to me. It just did not have the grunt of the BMW M plant. I think you need to take one for a drive (given the cost of these things now). Plus, my dog really liked it!

Beautiful dog and car. btw, what rims are those? Might end up getting a good deal and spend what evers left on rims and a full exhaust

Thanks. I believe the wheels are Volk gt-u.

Well no luck on her z. Buuuuut... My friend said since his gf is still trading it in why don't I buy his 2006 350z its perfect. Best exhaust I have ever heared, its lowered,it has nice rims, nice red color gorgeous hood/bonnet made out of real carbonfiber, under drive pullys, cold air intakes, boost gauges and nos already to go just needs to connect to a bottle and ready. thats just a few things i can remember off the top of my head!

Buuuut... I don't know how to drive stick.. :headbang: so I'm going to go this weekend to try driving stick for the first time in his Z. If I do buy it ill put the rest of my saved money aside for more things. Racing seats, tires, breaks ect. And all the ppl I do know that drive stick won't let me practice in thiere cars because thiere highly modified.

Once you learn you will never go back. I think the 350z is the best car for you at the moment. Once you get comfortable with that power then think about upgrading to. A z4mcoupe.
