I have recently acquired a set of genuine BMW floating (self-levelling) centre caps. Unfortunately they won’t go on the front wheels because the self-levelling counterweight fouls the dust cap in the centre of the hub. How do others get around this problem - simply remove the dust cap? If so, why is it there in the first place, there isn’t a dust cap on the rears?
Anyone have floating centre caps?
