So Friday i went to the hospital to have it straightened. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as it was quite possibly the most disturbing thing that's ever happened to me!
They only use a local anesthetic which i wasn't best pleased about as didn't want to be aware what was going on. When the first lot went in it just came out the side of my nose where it was previously cut from the bone going through, that was rather unpleasant. The second time i could feel the needle scraping the bone, that was also rather unpleasant.
It then took an hour and a half of 'manipulating' the bone before he got it to a relatively presentable position. The first 40 minutes was him trying all manner of different positions to try get enough force to re-break it, so much so my head is bruised from where he was holding so tight. Then, when it did go, it apparently tuned to mush as when it first broke it wasn't a clean break and was basically shattered. Every time he took any pressure off it just fell back out of line. The doc then ran about the hospital trying to find something to splint it with as they had nothing. Ended up with some lollipop sticks taped down each side, which then fell off before i even got home.
As it stands its much better than it was so i am inclined to leave as is, i really don't fancy going through all that again as all in all it was a wholly unpleasant experience!
Have another appointment on Weds to discuss my buckled Septum which may or may not mean another operation...
