Anyone had the roof down so far this year ?

Myself & kinger were both attempting some roof down driving on our drive out last Thursday, the weather conditions meant they were a bit like yo-yo’s though!

SHould have dropped me a PM Mr Lipvig, I would have come along to help you carry all that poop roll home. Passed your car two days ago, how the hell do you keep a black car that clean when it lives outside????

Will do next time

Only stays that way as I do so few miles now working from home. Still looks filthy 5 minutes after being cleaned to me

Sun comes out - top comes off! That's the rule isn't it?
Only managed it twice so far. (but summer is coming soon right?) :?

I’ve had the roof down every day I’ve taken the car out this year, including Xmas day and New Year’s Day. If it’s not raining, the roof is coming down. :driving:

Have the roof down at least one day most weeks of the year, especially in winter.

The lack of frost & blue canopy skies this winter has made it less fun, though.

Told Deb last night I was gonna have the roof down this morning...

Car was frozen so didn't want to put the roof in the boot with all that melting frost so wimped out.

Had it down on the way home though

Yes, had a full service, MOT needs new tyres booked in for Saturday, is running like a dream.

I haven’t been out in mine with the roof up since I have owned it. If the weather doesn’t allow for the roof down the Z stays at home and the 3 series comes out instead
What the...! My 35i is my daily and I’ve probably had the top down 20 times, if not more this year already!

Wednesday afternoon and the sun was shining, had to nip down out so I thought I'd drag the Z out of the garage and get my money's worth out of the new relays. Popped into the petrol station and checked my tyres and it started to snow! Roof back up and into the garage again. :x

I don’t follow mate? I am saying that I haven’t actually driven mine with the roof up as yet. That roof is dropped the second I start her up

Roof down for the first time this year. Mind you it’s the first time I’ve driven it this year too :|

Yeah, sorry. I’ve reread and I see I got it wrong. Sorry about that. It’s been a busy and rather unusual week. I guess my mind wasn’t really on it :D
