Anyone got/used Motive Supplies MMI?

I am looking at this https://motivesupplies.nl/product/motivesupplies-mmi-for-bmw/ and seeing if anyone has used or opinions on it.

It is cheaper than Mr12Volt and after chatting to them the installation seems easier as no need to split the i drive connector and sound comes through the quadlock (after a bit of coding, they say) and not the aux.

I have one, it gave random issues on the cic idrive and so i decoupled it. Android auto satnav maps on the e89 screen is far from ideal. The contrast is bad and of course it's not a touchscreen.

Audio only worked through aux. It was installed by previous owner, so I'm not sure if he ever bothered about coding.
