Do I really go on about it that much?
Si, I thought I needed that for mine, but it was a config issue. Have you done the setup on CD6? If not I'll dig you the details - something like you set the system to iPOD GW and then set the text row... the system works around there being three rows of text on the display, you need to tell it to move down to the single line you have on the Business CD (assuming that's what you have). Then set whether you want it to scroll or display a partial title.
For some reason this isn't in the instructions, I'll have a look now, I have some somewhere that Dension hooked me up with.
EDIT: Instructions about half way down this page - might be worth a link to see if you have any issues Adey did:
http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14004&p=210051&hilit=+dension+business#p210051
If you have done all of the above I'll check back on another thread - someone else on here needed to upgrade the firmware... they may have the file still.
EDIT: Adey... but by the looks he did the update rather than the TEXT.BIN
FINAL EDIT: From Dension (to confirm, do the process above):
"Most cases in BMW you can have id3 text display (this feature is disabled by default) and Gateway menu on the display, except if the Head Unit:
- made by Becker
- has factory phone preparation or phone button
- has factory phone kit
The new GW100 (GW16BMx) and GW300 (GW33BMx) has a built-in text selector menu so you can set text without using any configuration files."
Good luck... anything else just ask.
