Anyone fitted Wiperblades.co.uk own Hybrid Blades?

Hi,

has anyone fitted Wiperblades.co.uk own brand Hybrid Blades?

I bought some as they are supposed to stick to curved screens better (mine is an '86 Coupe)

But they look like they won't fit.

They come with a closed ended plastic attachment which the "hook" on the end of the wiper arm needs to slide over without fouling the bar at the closed end. Obviously this works fine for a short hook but mine just hits the tiny bat across the end and won't slide over (needs pics). But Imagine the Bosch plastic clip but with a bar over the curved end.

Anyone have any experience. I seem to recall another set doing this years ago. God knows why they don't just use the Bosch system.

Wiperblades.co.uk just say they must fit.....

Ok you can see the hook is too long for the slot/hole and fouls the end bar.

But duh, you can just turn it 90 degrees slide it over the end and reposition back to the correct point. Kind of like what you do with the blade itself

I still don't see what was wrong with the Bosch system though....

Anyway they are on, or appear to be
 
So there is infact nothing wrong?

My first set of cheap ebay Flatblade wipers were hard work to get on.

Bought some decent bosch ones and they were no trouble at all.
 
Yes Ben, I managed to fit them. Hopefully this will be slightly helpful if anyone else purchases.
They seem to work well
 
First sweep seemed very good, but after a while they've started to leave a section unswept - right in my view.
I'll get some pics in a bit...
