Anyone fitted Mudflap's to their 09 Z

Do they keep road dirt off the side of the car ?

Mudflaps on a Zed? That would be like looking at a stripper wearing wellies...... :cry:
I put the 3m coating on, at least it's almost invisible and stopsthe rock chips.

They would, in theory keep stones and dirt from hitting behind the wheels as they do on my trucks....
 
Got them on my Zed - easy to fit, small and quite discrete. Keep mud and muck from the lower bodywork and significantly reduce stone chips.

Mud flaps on a Z? and to think some of you questioned my taste for chrome wheels...oh well, to each his own I guess. But I will respect your choice to put some on (unlike those who would just as well hang me for my wheels)

Yes, I do agree that the car looks better without, just thought it would save a lot of car washing, but now I have seen the photo's it's a no-go :thumbsdown:
 
does anybody have pics of a stripper wearing wellings, i'd like to compare to the zed with mudflaps
 
Call me Hippocrates 'coz I just ordered a set of wellies for the stripper. :oops:

I checked the price in the US and at $87 a pair I figured I might as well see what they look like, black on a white car might work, then again it might look like absolute crap. I should get them in a couple of weeks when I go south for a weekend and will try them on when I get back here. I'll post some pics then and we can all argue about how good/bad they are.

Yes, if you could see UK roads in winter god knows how they get so dirty :headbang: just thought midflaps could save extra washing-thus cutting down on the 'swirl' marks
 
To be honest, I've had mud flaps on some vehicles in the past and most just seem re-direct the muck to another part of the car, not stop it! :?

I checked the pics and black on back looks "discreet", I'll have to wait and see what black flaps on a white car look like.
