Just seen this on fleabay and thought someone might be interested.

keep it for long enough and u prob wont lose that much in depreciation even tho its cat d
 
2 new wheels, a new door (panel ?), new side skirt and a new rear quarter - how can that be a total loss write-off ? Surely there must be hidden structural damage :?

Folkestone is not so far away... But selling my car to buy one that is broke 'ain't too clever... And it's not red :poke:

Check it out and let us know? I think this might be a bargain for someone if it's only minor damage
 
THis has been up for quite a while now. Looks like the axle on the near side rear is bent. It's going to cost more than you think to get this back on the road.
 
I saw this advertised 3 months ago.

Why it did not sell warrants an inspection as its cheap.

Why 2 wheels?

All I see is the plastic ie side skirt and bumper and rear left mudguard 200 pounds from
A breaker.

I'd like to get to the bottom of this car as might consider it as a donor.

Both wheels may be okay with a refurb, but they are pretty chewed - that's what, £160 ? Then the rear quarter, which is metal not plastic, and I reckon pretty much a whole new door. If it was so easy to fix, why would they write off a car worth £13/14k ? You're right, worth looking at, but I'd want an independent professional opinion...
 
I wonder if that was a Cat D before.

I wonder why it's always advertised on eBay and not elsewhere.

i thought i had seen this before too.

Strip it and make it straight would be a nice track slag.
