I had an old Celica years ago. I really loved it, god knows why I sold it. Probably a bit slow and thirsty. Loved it at the time.

Old thread I know, but passed a white GT86 this evening on the M25 and they're looking more and more like a car I'd like to own one day. Yes I know all about the negatives but I don't care!

It is such a frustrating car as it had the opportunity to be absolutely awesome...but Toyota managed to do what they do best and keep it nice and steady whereas if they had tapped into their history of when they made exciting cars they could have had an absolute winner on their hands I reckon.

Out of factory they are a tad under powered but supposedly a few minor upgrades sees heaps of benefits!
If I has the cash, I'd probably run one in parallel to the zed but as a daily, quick enough for day use but still fun and then save the zed for proper fun over the weekends :thumbsup:
