Anyone else having an expensive weekend?

Motoring costs are indeed much cheaper than UK and Europe.

But as to USA No 1 ...? Better hope you never need Medical care...

Your Petrol should be cheaper soon after it's liberated from the peaceful people of Venezuela. No doubt in the name of Freedom.

Not happening. FFS, if that what the media is feeding you over there?

I never said "USA No 1"

And as for medical care - I get GREAT medical care here, no waiting. Let's not start a debate about the merits of socialized medicine.

Yes, it definitely looks like you've won the expensive weekend thread - lovely looking car as well.

How quickly a topic about a stripped strut, turned into flaming on the US. :?
that's what happens whenever somebody rubs people up the wrong way by flaunting it like a peacock, whatever *it* is in any given situation . Especially when that peacock hasn't got much to flaunt according to the general consensus.
Invariably the best reaction is no reaction, but it's just too easy to bite the bait. :fuelfire:

You do know these cars were built in the former English colony before they seen sense and kicked them out?

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! Thread was too far gone to be cut again, I considered putting it on the lathe, cleaning it up and then running a smaller thread down but instead got a new strut! Had to also buy some through sockets too. Didn't want to risk it happening again. Amazing how easy things are when you've got the right tools!
