The 35i was only £20 more a year to insure than my 3.0si, same road tax cost and 1 mpg different in economy! :wink:
Not really the same as the difference of double road tax, almost £100 more insurance, worse MPG and what would feel like inside as the same car as my 3.0si if I had changed to a Z4M!
I think the 3.0i is in the same tax bracket as the 35i. :wink:
That's how good that bi turbo engine is. Admittedly a few horsepower down on the Z4M (that only shows at the top end which is limited to the same as the 35i anyway) but the same torque as the new V8 M3!
Buying the 35i is a no brainer really! :wink:
You are right though. The 3.0i would be more than enough on the road. :wink:
I will predict the 40i M-Sport will be announced by Feb 2010, could be wrong though
