There is of course the M-suspension (adjustable) for those that think the suspension is to soft. :driving: I'm getting the 19" alloys so I will be ordering it, should help for a softer(ish) ride.

The 911 is fine if all you want to do is drive around aimlessly. If you need to travel and that includes taking some luggage with you then it must be the Z4 all the way.
Drive around aimlessly !!? WTF ?

I am planning on keeping this one for a couple of years, possibly until i'm 25. And i would look into the E89 then, it would have to be white with red interior, and the fastest one :driving:

Make sure you see a white one in the metal first as I think the black looks better on the E89, where as I think the white looked better on the Z4 Coupe!

Seen one  It was parked near my house the other week and looked stunning.

It does look good, but I looked at one at my dealers and the black one was parked next to it! The black one looked more me in comparison. Just think the car looked classier in black, side by side.

The 370Z I nearly bought was white and I thought that was the best colour for that car mind.

+1

saw a white one and loved it, but i think black/navy are the best colours.

why doesn't it look good in red

I have seen a black one at Santa Pod. It was very nice but i personally preffered the white one. But where would the world be if everybody liked the same :)

I guess i prefer the white because it is more cool than classy.

Think my main reason for liking the E89 in black was the fact that it hides the rear styling a bit better as I'm still not a big fan of it! A bit to "American" looking for me, but I'm getting used to it. :)

I've only seen the one E89 in the flesh and it was dark, but it did look pretty good. And of all the pics I've seen, IMO the styling suits a dark colour better. I'm interested to see the silver one a member on here has bought but not posted pics of though (I'm a silver fan!).

To be honest I'm not overly keen on the old Z4 in red... except for the M! Unless they're different colours - non-M seems a lot brighter? Maybe the E89 M will be the same.

With Lucy on the white E89... seen one and it looks great! Think it might be sensitive to wheel / trim choice though. Interestingly have only seen that and there are two blue and one black in around town... plus maybe a couple more in the city, but I've not seen any other colours.

I was going to try an E89 just to see, but after what Dario said I think it's best if I don't... it would be fiscally irresponsible!

Don't do it! It cost me a small fortune when I did!!

Should've bought the sdrvie30i and saved some money. It's not like you can notice a difference of 45hp in real world driving. I bet insurance and road taxes are cheaper for the 30i, too. :poke:

Err not so, I had an insurance quote from my insurer, and if I the car was delivered this day I would have received a £12.67 refund on a 35 DCT. :D from a 3.0 Z
