Anyone Considering Selling a Phoenix Yellow Coupe?

I’ll be on the lookout for a Z4 coupe soon. I’m just wondering if anyone that’s lucky enough to own a Phoenix yellow is thinking about selling up!
My only requirement would be less than 80,000 miles.
What is there out there?
If anyone wants something more economical the car I’m trying to sell is a 120d coupe and would offer this plus plenty of £££. But I’m aiming to get this sold first.

Sadly you just missed one! https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=104772&hilit=phoenix

Another forum member put together a database which suggests that only 18 Phoenix Yellow Coupes came to the UK, 3 Autos and the rest manual. This won't work as a link as it isn't https, but if you copy and paste it'll be fine:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html

So you may have to be very patient, or be a bit flexible on mileage seeing as they are all about 10 years old now! Or maybe consider other colours. :o

I had a 123d before I got a Z4C - and I wished I had bought one sooner as it's so much better (until you need to renew the tax)!

Good luck anyway.

Thanks! Gutted I missed that one it looks perfect!
Tax won’t be an issue as the £315 is cheaper than the £500+ I was paying in my previous 350z!
I’m quite flexible on colours (aiming for Montego blue) but I was hoping this post would convince someone with a Phoenix to sell who was on the fence!
I didn’t know the Phoenixes were that rare, when I was looking a few years ago (went a different way in the end) there were two for sale!

After a 350Z I can see why the tax isn't an issue!

Maybe Phoenix Yellow ones are like buses......!

You should do better with the wonderful (what, me biased?) Montego Blue alternative - IIRC there were over 200 of those.

I just wanted something other than silver or black!

Well on every other car silver is mediocre, but the BMW silver is so bright, and the Z4 benefits from so many slices and creases and angles and curves to avoid any large plain areas of little definition.
Probably why the black ones don’t look as good as other colours!
Added to that my current daily car is black, as is my track car!

I bought this a few months ago and am loving the car. Only a second car for me, but if it was my daily driver I probably would have gone for something else. I wasn't necessarily looking for one
The only other phoenix yellow coupe I remember seeing for sale in the last few months was an SE spec with around 100k miles on eBay. ( May still be there)..!
Good luck with the search, although the next one that comes up for sale may well this one! I will definitely be keeping it for at least the next 12 months.

Sorry Biggles I have a physical aversion to convertibles!
Stewey - yep, the 100k miles one is this there but I’m trying to get a newer lower mileage car than what I’m in. Or at least lower mileage!
Just out of interest, why would you not run it as a daily? Fuel costs and space? Not wanting to get it damaged?

What I meant to say was if I was running one as a daily, I would not necessarily have gone for this colour and had a montego blue, black, etc. But as its only a weekend car I actually prefer the phoenix yellow as a colour. It does show off the lines really well.

I regret selling that Paul hope you are enjoying it,Still got my eye on a Z3mcoupe but I see a Z4 m coupe the other day so am still considering getting one but as stated it has to be a light colour,Phoenix yellow would be perfect for me or white or red is the darkest colour, don’t want grey or silver as every other car on the road are those colours, but I might be persuaded

You’ve prob seen this already, and it’s well over 100k miles, but looks like a really decent specimen in yellow.
