Anyone bought the wind deflector-

make one, tinted polycarb :D

nope I have put felt 'coins' on the deflector where it touches against the headrest, and the velcro straps hold it firmly in place. the tint is very similar to that of the windows too. You don't notice it is there when driving, unlike the OEM one which used to annoy the hell out of me on my last car.

yes rigid mesh version, TBH I thought it looked dreadful with all that framework. To me, that looks like the home made one.... Its lift out and store on the boot lid for a reason.... :rofl:
 
I have a similiar wind deflector or maybe it is exactly the same - the plastic one with straps that hold it in place. I tried the grey straps - really ugly. I tried the clear straps and it was still to ugly. I took it off and discovered that it really doesn't make much of a difference anyway. With the top down it's windy with and without this thing. The wind comes in from a different direction while using it but it still comes in to the same degree (IMO).
 
Could be because I'm only 5'7", but it makes a big difference for me... Off and my head freezes (also follically challenged :D ), on and only my left ear gets frozen - solved by a hat :wink:
 
My wind deflector is custom made by WindRestricter. It is shown in my signature.Works great, lights up at night. :roll:

That's the one I've got...looks like it came with the car and fits snug...in fact I have to really haul on it to remove it...I'm sure you will like it.

Admittedly i've just found out that my dealer fitted deflector has the retaining bracket fitted upside down...so thats why it doesnt clip in place :headbang:

are you talking about the boot holder for the deflector?
