Anyone been to a chiropracter?

Never tried a chiropractor. Has always been sprains and pulled muscles with me. Physio now that's some one I've met a few times.

I used to suffer lower back probs on a regular basis to a point I could hardly walk for a couple of days and the muscles would go into spasm. Always put up with it and would try and carry on regardless. Always worried me as my dad had Osteo Spondilitus which wasn't too pleasant. I was going to see a chiropracter but then I read about the positives of taking Glycosimine Sulphate and Krill Oil. I started taking 1500mg a day and have been for the past 3 years and my back problems have all but disappeared, still get the odd occasion but no where near as bad as I used get it. I don't know if taking supplements help but it seemed too much of concidence to me after years of back probs.

Theres lots of things you need to look at, if you excercise, your job, do you sit down or stand up alot in your job and identifying possible causes, even if you have a family history of back problems.

Chiropracter sorted my back, shoulder and neck. Followed by a couple of visits to a good Thai massage which were less painfull and very enjoyable. Been right ever since. :)

Thanks for your input all. My neck is feeling marvellous after Wednesdays session but I'm too chicken to go back as the neck cricking thing was a bit frightening for little ole me. Hoping it stays pain-free.
