Good grief that is f***ing hideous!

And what exactly are Grip Tyres? Although I suppose they would be better than No Grip Tyres.

Surely that's been vandalised. Nobody would do that deliberately.

You would be surprised... and disgusted... mostly disgusted

"rat" look it was once very popular, a total cancer on the car enthusiast landscape

I seen a guy with an absolutely perfect (and I MEAN utterly PERFECT condition mk1 Golf GTi) he spend thousands having it taken back to its shell, cleaned, undersealed repainted the whole lot then he took the bonnet off, sanded it down to bare metal and let it rust in the garden for 4weeks...... :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I remember rat bikes where people just painted the whole bike Matt black

Maybe the wrap is covering up something worse :) but then might be a good buy and reveal perfect paintwork.

Can't quite work out the story with the steering wheel though

Selling due to moving abroad. From the photos... the car is already abroad... oh and it looks like a bag of shite. The inside is filthy as well.

Wow. normally, i think if an owner is happy with their car, then i'm happy with their car. After all, everyone is different, they can do what they want to it. modifications might not always be to my taste, but if they're done well and someone has put effort in to achieve a look they can be proud of, then good for them.

But that is truly hideous. the owner clearly gives precisely zero fucks about that car, inside or out. has put zero effort into an exterior finish, and has zero pride in it. Probably an unwanted/throwaway gift, i can't believe someone would buy a car with the intention of treating it that badly.

That cant be a wrap, it looks like runs in the paint and theres what looks like overspray everywhere

The only thing you can hope is itโ€™s a wrap thatโ€™s then been rattle canned with that road workers markup yellow paint

It is, and Iโ€™ve seen quite a few for sale on eBay, etc recently where theyโ€™re not even hoovered the car but this, minging, coins, footballs and all other manner of sh!te and the one thatโ€™s puzzling me MST the metres and metres of cables including all over the pedal box area

I don't fully understand what I am looking at. it just doesn't make sense. :o :?

Definitely wrapped, but the gold is just plain weird.

Loving the pictures having been taken on a zebra crossing.

Not seen a car shown off with all the doors and boot open for years

It's so sad to see a perfectly good car ruined like that. Goodness knows what effort went in to making it look that bad, but I'm guessing not much.

I'm not sure it is a wrap. Look at some of the close up shots and you can see runs.

I think it might be plasti dipped. Which if it just pulled off actually be the one saving grace of this monstrosity!

What? You never heard of grip tyres? You been living in a cave or something? Been running 'em for years. Grip and grip and grip they do.

Fine idea! Think of the corrosion protection

I particularly like this pic with the wire wrapped around every pedal. Looks like a fine way to commit suicide! Which to be fair you would probably want to do anyway driving around in that...

I'm thinking it's wrapped as it looks like it's bubbling or lifting along front edge of the bonnet plus a respray even like that would have cost a bit.
