Anybody with 19's on their roadster ?

Is anybody rolling around on 19” alloys on their Z4 roadster ? if so does anybody mind posting some pictures.

The reason I ask is that I am considering buying a set of new alloys and toying with the idea of going up to 19”, I have seen 19’s on the coupe many times, however the only roadster I saw with 19’s was a car for sale (looked at it when I was hunting for mine) and because of the 19’s it looked as if it was on stilts! ……..did not look good at all in my opinion.

I am also assuming that running 19’s with normal tyres doesn’t sacrifice the ride quality as bad as 18’s with the naff run-flats ?......

Thanks in advance.

As stated in my original post, i have seen plenty of coupe's with csl & other 19's.........i am looking for images for 19's on a roadster ! And yes, the look is different between roadster to coupe with 19" alloys

Alpinas run 19s (if they have the Dynamics - which most do). I can't comment from personal experience on RFTs but common wisdom would suggest that normal tyres are better on the Z4 whether it be running 18s or 19s. Tyre sizes for the Alpina are F 235/35R19 R 265/30R19.

man 19's? I'm rubbing with my 18's on a near full suspension travel... none on my 17's

Aren't the M wheels wider or different offset to the normal 18's, maybe thats your rubbing problem?

Mine came with 19's as standard so I havn't experienced any other size. The ride comfort felt fine to me though before I fitted solid suspension bushes and ultra stiff coilovers!!!

Nice looking car, you have also answered my next question about black wheels on a silver car, i also have the red leather like you. This has given me somethign to think about in terms of wheel options. It also seems that 19's can sit on the car without them looking too big.

A side shot would also be appreciated if you have one.

Skilby 99, Your car is also looking pretty cool with 19's on !.so thanks

I think I will be going for CSL reps when I replace my wheels, just not sure on 18's or 19's, might depend in finances.
