Anybody use a tablet for drawing?

Just starting getting into it. Mainly using Procreate and Paper apps. Bought a Paper 53 digital pencil too which helps. Just trying to get my head around it not being a real pen and paper!

Here's a quick test I just did in the last hour. My old MC.

Any hints or tips from users out there gratefully received!

Oh, and I did this recently too on it.

My daughter does - and you've seen samples of her artwork

Her preferred way of working is a Wacom tablet that I bought for her several years ago using lots of layers in Photoshop on her PC, but she also has a Samsung Note 10.1 and sketches on that with a stylus using, I think, Photoshop Touch as the base app. That said, she still uses sketchbooks, pads and scraps of paper that have been the only thing to hand when she's had an idea

 I'll check out PS Touch. Not used that yet. Hope she's doing well and has found or is finding an outlet for that talent

seeing you'r work really puts into perspective how bad i am when it comes to drawing.. :? on a good day 2 of the limbs on my stick figures are even length.

She's doing fine thanks, she's had a few people commissioning odd bits and pieces.

She just likes creating some odd stuff, often to themes suggested by some of her on-line art community- as an example, this was for a lesbian reimagining of Rapunzel

Amazing. What's her website. I'd like to keep track and who knows; may even be able to commission one day. PM me if you prefer Perry.

I'll have to check which one she's currently using as she seems to have password protected her old one - I think people were reblogging her stuff and she got a bit protective. If you do a google image search for artbycgunn you'll get loads of hits on things like pinterest but the links back to the images now require a password
