I'm down on my totals this year due to a dodgy leg. Trying to get back to match-fit but it's taking longer than I hoped it would :/

Not an injury Chris, underlying medical condition which means at times I’m not allowed to sweat heavily by exercising for more than 10 mins as it puts an additional strain on my kidneys. Was like that at the start of the year, then I was in shielding and not allowed out and then unfortunately my condition flared again just after shielding so no bike got the foreseeable.
I can’t imagine how long it’ll take me to get back to fitness when I’m allowed. My average on mixed terrain is about 18 mph mountain biking 22-25 mph road cycling
I hope you manage to get back to normal as quickly as you can
