Anybody bought Diamond car mats?

Thinking of purchasing a set for my 2004 Zed. Have heard some reports purchasers have had to pay import taxes and the measurements can be up to 1 Inch out. It says they are based in Stoke but in reality they come from China and if faulty the purchaser has to pay up to £50 to return them. Anybody on here got them and what do you think :?

There's definitely a few sets knocking about the forum and I've not heard any complaints, Maniac has them for sure, can't remember who else..if they need returning for poor fit can't see how anyone but the supplier would have to cover the cost..buy them on a credit card for the insurance cover if you have concerns I'd say

I’ve got them in mine and I like them. They fit well and the plastic tabs that go up under the plastic of the transmission tunnel and the door sill hold it in place well (circled in yellow) The only thing I’d recommend is fitting Velcro pads/double sided tape on the foot rest to hold it neatly in the corner

What I really like is that they contain all the wee stones etc and a quick wipe with a baby wipe and they’re like new again

I think I’ve a 25% discount code somewhere

I do like the look of them and have to say the ease of maintenance is appealing

You wanting the code ££££’s :poke:
Probably in the New year yes :poke: :D in fact you may as well pm it over now :D Time is money and all that so the time saved cleaning and hoovering they will eventually pay for themselves so technically its an investment..hows that for man maths :D

I think they divide opinion lets just say!

They do indeed ..they are definitely a marmite product for some reason, not sure how a car mat can be so divisive myself :D

They do but for me I’ve yet to have a set of fabric mats that I can keep clean given the weather up here whereas with these if they get dirty a quick wipe down and back to new.

It’d good we all have different tastes or it would be hell of a boring otherwise

I've taken the plunge and bough a set. Black with Red stitching to match my Red Leather seats. Should have been £92 but with the 25% discount came to £69. Thanks to Argyll Andy for the discount code

How long did delivery take for your mats to arrive?

I’ve just checked the tracking, the company dispatched them on 12/05 and I received them 28/05. That of course was during lockdown so don’t know if that added any additional time on?

Glad the discount code worked

Just a wee thing about the coloured stitching, my set were ordered with blue stitching for my first Z4 but obviously when I got a bright orange one we’ll say the blue looked p!sh to say the least. I contacted the company to see if they’d do me a set in orange to match the extended leather but they didn’t. Rather than order a new black set I decided to see what I could do with the original ones and I got black liquid shoe polish and went over the blue stitching on them with cotton buds. One coating was all it took, about an hour or so and still looking as good now as when I did them. The polish doesn’t lift off or anything when wiping them down. So if you really don’t like the red when the are installed you could do this and change them all to black

I’ll see if I’ve a before and after picture

As above, the one where they’re black the wee dark spots are just water where I’d wiped any excess polish off, once dried they look like the 1st set 0f pictures I posted

Cheers Andy. Good tip  I'll have to see if I can get on with the Red stitching when I fit them in. I'm not expecting them to arrive this side of Christmas. In no rush. Thanks again for the code :driving:
