Hi There new proud owner of a 2008 midnight blue z4m coupe(at least I think thats the colour) Only had the car 3 weeks. Sorry not sure how to add photos yet.

I live in oakham rutland but these cars are like so rare I have only seen one in nearly 2 years

Love the car but even after 3 weeks still not used to the clutch and jerking  Im sure its not me though.

Mods - Lower on H and R springs
Inspiri 19 wheels or replica csls - cant decide. Anybody want to swap ?

cheers

Welcome Sid..

Remove the clutch delay valve and change the oil to Amsoil manual syncromesh oil..

Problem solved..

Try moving your seat around. I know it sounds stupid but I took me ages to realise I was sitting too far back, and I think ever so slightly stretching for the clutch, although I didn't feel like I was.

Get yourself a bit closer than you think you need to be and see if it helps. Made a massive difference to me anyway.

That's a fairly exclusive club (Midnight Blue Z4MC). There's only 17 of us in the UK. I'm not that far away from you in Nottinghamshire.

Welcome to the forum

Oh and don't worry about the kangarooing. We all did that when we first got the car. You'll soon get used to it!

Hi Mate, had a good look at your car the other night. Very pretty.
You must have slithered into the nelson for a pint?

I currently live in Barleythorpe, have a silver / grey Z4MC, used to have a Ruby Black Z4MC.

Good mate who lives in Oakham has the v low millage sepange bronze Z4MC.

They are getting common rond here now! haha

CDV is something you will get used to just give it a while before you get drastic and remove anything, just be easy on the clutch and squeeze it out

X2 practice makes perfect. A year on I'm completely used to the clutch now and don't have any issues. I kangaroo ex around a lot at first

We used to get this from gannet how he could drive round it and it wasn't a problem. Then eventually he removed his CDV, and even he was amazed.
