Any Z4 owning motorbike riders out there?? What's your ride?

Anybody interested in a 'refurbished' beautiful 17 year old Z1000 with only 12,000 miles and a really good service history? I need to get rid as need the space now!

Couple of pics, I’ve fitted some Higgspeed expansion chambers to liven up the village a bit
Is that the engine all sorted then? I do love that bike, especially as it's the 'right' colour! Are Micron still going, or allspeed?

Looks as dry as a bone there now too! :(
Yep, I’ve rebuilt the engine from the smallest constituent parts using replacement crankcases, cylinder, piston, and crankshaft.
Started it for the first time today & rode around the village, sounds well and rides smoothly

Impressed is an understatement. You haven't had a lot of luck recently have you? :(

Thanks, you can see it in action in the link on the previous page.
My lucks been very bad but my bikes (and my zed replacement car) have helped keep me sane & smiling.
Everything will be ok 👍

Which is???

I wanted something quirky that soaks up the potholes in the lanes, economical & easy to fix with reasonably priced parts.
Still got a soft top as well, made from 1948 to 1990.
I’ve bought a Citroen 2cv

Are you sure the latest issues haven't affected your mental health Rob?
It is 'kermit green', you do know that, yes? And a Bamboo special edition! :driving:
I feel a lot better about my choice in cars now, so thanks for that at least!

Maybe if you got one it would be great for your mental health Andrew?

How much are you looking for Pondy?
I am going to list it on an auction on eBay. Reserve of £3,200 ish as I'm not greedy. It only has a month's MOT and can't be arsed to insure it and tax it just to get a new one. I would like £3,500 but not sure what the market is doing ATM.

I probably don't qualify to respond to this thread as I don't have a Z4 just yet (but I will soon).

Anyway my 2 wheeler is a Triumph Street Triple 675. Had her for over 4 years now and still love her as much as the day I got her. Have tried others i.e. Ducati Street fighter and although the extra power was nice it was not as smooth or as refined as the STR.
