Had the Suzuki for 30 years then decided I needed something modern (for me that is )
I've never owned a Suzuki. Had many Kwakas, a couple of Hondas (CBR600 and a blade), and several Yams but never a Suzi. Last count was 24 bikes owned but no Suzis. I need to rectify this misdemeanour asap.

I would love a kettle, but that is looking financially unlikely :o I would settle for an X7; basically anything 2 stroke. :D

What didn't you like about it?
Looking down at the clocks and seeing 130+ when you think you're doing 90  it was fantastic, just too easy to do bonkers speeds, i could see myself getting into trouble very very easily, a tentative facebook marketplace listing and an offer of £500 more than i bought it for made it an easy decision

Found that with my old 07 ZX10r, mind you the S1000r has actually got a better power to weight ratio but you are a bit more aware of the speed.

Given the events kicking off today on the IoM, this little unit has piqued my interest down here in NZ.
A fitting stablemate for the Ducati and Yamaha TZ350 what do you guys think? With a bit of juggling in the garage and wallet, a space should be found surely?

Old girl flew threw her MoT earlier this week. She's been sat up on the paddock stands in the garage pretty much since Covid kicked in a couple of years ago. Been using my K1300S for two wheeled duties but this old beauty can still hustle. I had forgotten just how utterly brutal the power delivery is.

And the noise............OMG.........the noise!!!!! :o :D

Years back I had a Ducati S4R, absolutely loved it. For financial reasons I had to sell it at the time, but being in a better place now I decided to get myself a project!

In true Italian fashion, it decided to break down after a faultless 60 mile drive just 3 miles from home

I’ll be fixing it up on a strict essentials-only basis for the summer, only to strip it down to the last nut and bolt this winter for a full rebuild. Fun times ahead

After owning a number of smaller Kawasaki triples in the 80’s I’ve lusted after the H2 750 triple for decades, I’m having this delivered next month

I was lucky as the owner had a set of these to go with it, for added crackle 8)

Oh Rob that is just fantastic.

My envy is a similar colour to your bike.

I still miss my KH500 with Allspeed spannies and a twin-disc conversion - which may be a plan for an H2.

Roll on next month!
