Had one of those........was a great bike, probably my favourite of all the bikes I've owned.

Followed that with almost 14 years on an Aprilia Caponord, now have a Super Tenere.

As I recall Manfred that bike makes everything feel slow with the mid-range grunt it has. Plus c100 mph first gear.... :lol:

Good job you have stealth black on the road rather than Repsol colours; sold mine because to enjoy it meant every ride was a potential licence loser... :?

I love the stealth colour but not sure it makes much difference. Always feels like you're on the point of losing your licence!
 
The case with bikes in general these days with the anti-fun brigade, speed limits on any roads remotely considered pleasureable and all the dash cams installed... :headbang:
 
Both me and the good lady have had bikes, but having another mate killed through no fault of his own and not having the time to use them as we used to meant we both got rid of them.
I had a VFR800 and the wife a CBR600

Tl1000s, that brings back some memories, had one in 97 same dark green colour too, mad thing nearly killed myself outside Llandovery on it. Good times.
