Any z4 35is owners help needed

After a 40 min drive today to have the front tyres changed the garage mixed up the ordered 255 30 19 and not 225 35 19. 😔 I now have to wait until Monday for fitting.

I was a little pissed and went up the road to tyrepro which was daylight robbery £360 for 2 front Goodyear non rft. Order online nearly £100 cheaper. No thanks.

I have had the same kind of experience in mine - I can't remember whether I had Goodyear non-RFT or Dunlop non-RFT on the rear but definitely the Bridgstone RFT on the front and it was very unnerving when driving at speed.

I now have matching Dunlop SP Sport Maxx (non RFT) front and back, and the car feels infinitely better. Hopefully it's that and your problems go away tomorrow

perhaps I was just lucky with my winter tyres, which are different front and rear - had no issues at all, very smooth ride (summer tyres are the same)

Are you sure it’s just that you’re not used to a 35is..? They’re fairly powerful cars with......ermmm.....well a jelly chassis. The one area I really notice is there’s too much power for the chassis to cope with when you’re booting it, it’s quite unnerving at times.

That's certainly not normal. My car has another 80bhp over the 35is and feels solid under acceleration.
