So Chrome is best for mobile? Why don't I get link throughs on it but I do with Safari? Like I said, I'm not an expert

Right, I was ruling out desktop as mobile is the future. In my opinion I dont think it matters how your website renders on desktop. Mobile is the present and future.

no no no no no no... Mobile is the future, but you cannot rule out desktop, as for now and the foreseeable future, it will still be the market leader in browsing.

if your site doesn't perform well on a pc, then you might as well not bother at all.
Think of mobile support as an important add-on, and you won't go wrong

current person we used has moved on from web design into different industry so looking for someone to takeover

My best mate is very very good indeed, and not in the habit of over charging.

Sounds like you really need mobile optimisation, which is something he specialising in, creating a site that adapts to the screen size and often has three/four different states to allow for this, all done with adaptive CSS if that means anything to you.

I used to do it with him but he's gone full time into it and I've carried on with my current career.

My son does web designs as well, second year uni so does all the scaling etc for mobile sites and would not be expensive either.

Hi mate I'll send u a pm on Monday.. Remote is fine for me. Last design was remote. I like to do most things via email anyways. Keeps everything on record
