Any way to replace soft top rubber?

My last car spent its entire life in a garage so it didn't have this issue. Is there a good way to replace this rubber and should I be worried about it leaking because of this when it rains?

Nope, it's sewn into the top. Most of our tops look like that age. It shouldn't leak from what I understand that was sewn into the top to stiffen the edge and to help the top fold correctly.
