Evening all :D

I've had my Z for a while now and I just thought if anyone had any input on cornering techniques and so on? :driving:

I have not had a RWD before so any tips welcome.

Thanx in advance!

Mike

Turn off the DTC, turn in hard, stay above 4,500rpm, and floor it.

Be prepared to catch the back and hold it out of the corner!

Although of course, if you like your tyres, or want to stay out of the hedge on the other side of the road, then there are certainly faster ways to go round a corner! (Although I would argue, perhaps less fun  ).

In corners never accelerate until you dont have to apply the brakes again.

Let the car "push" you round the corner.

My last car was a supra and this technique was, by far, the best but my tyres on the rear last 6000 miles while the fronts did 20k. I couldn't advise it (do it, do it )

go sideways, lots.

i wanna show you some pics i took of me in the snow but i can't find my camera lead :(

When stuck in snow put the traction aids under the rear wheels NOT the front wheels like I see too often. :headbang:

Public Service Announcement for safe RWD driving - keep the rear wheels behind you 8)
