Any recommendations on what to do

I am a 17 yr old with a 2003 bmw z4 2.5i and a couple months back i had an engine valve break i ended up getting that valve replaced and payed around $1500 at the bmw dealer now recently i had my rack and pinion start making a squeaky sound when i turn the wheel and i am going to pay $850 to replace it. As all of this money is coming out of my pocket i find myself thinking about getting a new car but im not sure yet. Dont get me wrong i love my z4 but most of money is being spent on fixing it and not necessarily on modding it (rims, calipers, muffler, etc.) what should i do?

Have a read of the thread below, if it's the same noise as yours it might be an easy & cheap fix after all, also, you are unlucky to have a valve let go :thumbsdown:

17 and you drive a Z4! don't tell my son, he had to do time in a classic Mini 998cc to get his insurance to level where the eyes stopped watering.
