Any recommendation on tail pipe?

I've got the OEM tail pipe on my car but want to change it to something a bit cooler. Dont really want to change the entire system as it costs too much and dont want to hike up the insurance.

Mate recommended going for other oems as this is unlikely to raise the eye browse of insurers, and they probably cant tell its been changed even if I crash my car and ends up in a garage. Does anyone have any recommendations?
 
You could just powder coat, ceramic coat or gold plate the tips if it's just aesthetics you're after.

And don't be too certain of what insurance companies will and won't spot when they've got a big claim to assess :wink:
 
Yeah I was worreid about that! Was thinking of getting oem pipes if they've got good one, and if ever the insurers tell me off, I could say "the previous owner musted have fitted it and I couldn't tell the difference becasue its oem :) ". That might not wash very well though

Powder coat might be a good idea - that was the look I was after. And prob cheaper too Thanks!:)
