Any Phoenix Yellow fans?

I missed a parcel delivery last week so had to collect it from the sorting office.

On the other side of the road there is an independent car dealer, so of course I wandered over for a look at what was there!

There is a Phoenix Yellow 06 plate E85 facelift 3.0Si manual Sport, with 2-tone leather seats - black with Phoenix side bolsters.

Being Z4 Forum, it needs a photo:-

I thought it looked fantastic - if I wanted a Roadster I would be all over that! (According to the numbers Taz has there were 102 non-M Phoenix E85s for the UK).

It has heated seats, Nav and PDC, but is on 98K miles so £7,995 seems enough IMHO. But then how many got the 2 tone seats - not many I would imagine!

There were also 2 automatic E86s, a silver grey SE (but with Sport seats) and a white Sport (1 of 18 going by Taz's numbers)!

Anyway I spent quite a while wandering about as there were also 2 E89s, E46 M3, E92 M3, V10 M5, 650i, 335i Coupe, XK8, SL350, E500 AMG, Boxster, Cayman, etc.

Just to be clear I have no association with this firm, but if I won the lottery I would buy it - some great cars that aren't silly money (yet) and somewhere to keep them! Perfect!

Anyway in case anyone is interested, search Auto Options Direct Ltd - they are in Sandhurst, Berkshire.

Big PY fan here & that kiwi/black interior is as good as it gets to compliment the paint although being picky the alu dash looks out of place :(
Rare cars but not the easiest to sell on as the colour does divide opinion

I'm in the same camp as mr wilks.

If that were mine I'd have that dash painted gloss black. Problem solved.

Didn't overly like it as I didn't red leather. I'm a big fan now of both now. I think PY in ///M form is super rare. That dealer had some nice cars.

Love it, my first m3 was in py and kiwi interior then I bought second m3 ,wrapped in yellow and fitted kiwi interior too  Would love to have py z4 ,one of the best colors .

It was a colour that grew well with age. Looks great now, but agree that the dash would need changed.

Personally, I am a fan of PY, but more in Coupe form. But, this one from the same garage looks interesting, for those in the market for a White Coupe, although I'm far from sure about the wheels!

Love PY, but couldn't live with that interior - why do people try to colour match their interior leather to the exterior? Unless the shades are exactly the same, it just looks wrong. Same problem with red cars and red leather - just wrong, wrong, wrong. There was a montego blue coupe for sale on here recently, with black seats with bright blue bolsters. On a grey or black car, fine, but just looked awful against the blue metallic. :headbang:

I have a sapphire black roadster with the same interior.

But at least mine has the matching leather dash to go with it!

Absolutely love mine. Don't think I would want a PY z4 though, I think it suits the m3 much better and love their kiwi seats too.
