Out for a meal with the family, in Royal William yard, the other evening and spotted this humble 2.3 making a fine case for beauty over power, by rather out shining the opposition over the road. 8)

Not a great fan of the vinyls BUT THE ALLOYS ARE SPECTACULAR !!! Any one know the specific alloys are?

They are 19” wheels called simply 296. An OEM wheel that was an option on the E89. Lots crack but probably down to run flat tyres, however, later cars, after approx 2013 or 2014 I think it was had stronger 296.

I just happen to have a mint set that’s only done 3k with all but new OEM Bridgestone run flats on if you’re interested. :D

Might as well get a free plug on them p....

Oh dear. That is just muppetry of the highest order. Martini livery should ONLY be seen on a very select group of competition cars such as Porsche, Lancia, Alfa Romeo and Brabham. Even if he has gone to Le Mans that is just not right !

Totally agreed :D worse still its lavished on a SE still on stock springs  like socks on a rooster  just pointless & not at all fetching :(

Not a forum favourite then.

I quite like it. Not pretending to be anything but a tarted up Zed. No daft spoilers or body work, simply a classic colour scheme on a deçent looking sports car.

I'm not a big fan of the looks, but at least the car hasn't been messed about so it should be fairly easy to revert to standard.

But I do like the plate! :)

I quite like it, not seen it around before. I have seen a tt with the martini livery and a rather large wing down the a38 a few times in the morning though

I wouldn't have it on my own car,if it was mine, but I do think it's quite nice looking, and like the red wing mirrors with the rest of the logos..... actually does make you look at it more than the plain white Lambo, lol.
(Although the Lambo would be my choice, haha)

Leave the stripes on, but remove the Martini logos and race number. That would make it a bit more subtle.

Haha fully agreed, this could only be pulled off on a GT body kit.

Or this:

I think how these vinyls are styled (with the side stripes swooping down) is typical porsche.

But the martini striping is one of the best looking race livery imho (would be a nice topic: best looking race livery)
